Continuing Education Class Registration
Continuing Education classes will begin shortly! Our Continuing Education Schedule will includes classes such as top 10 code mistakes, concrete, roofing, effective business planning and OSHA regulations! Six (6) hours of Continuing Education Credit is required for your DOPL Contractor License Renewal submitted by November 30, 2011. When selecting classes, there are a few factors you should be aware of:
- Ensure classes you plan to attend are pre-approved through a registry (All SLHBA Classes are pre-approved by DOPL)
- At least 3 hours MUST be Core Credit, the other 3 hours can be Core or Professional
Registrations can be submitted online at www.slhba.com. The online registration system will close at 5:00 P.M. two (2) days prior to the day of the class. By registering for classes online, it will ensure that you are officially enrolled. Registrants that are enrolled in classes and do not attend on the day they registered for, will not be refunded for the class; all cancellations must be made two days prior to the class.
Registration Instructions:
1. Visit the Salt Lake Home Builders Assocation at http://www.slhba.com/member-information/upcoming-events.html.
2. This link directs you to the calendar for the entire year. Select the month in which you are planning to attend. Once the page of the preferred month loads, there will be a list of Classes and Events for that particular month.
3. Select the preferred class and once the description opens, the registration button will be located at the bottom. You are able to register as a member or a non-member.
4. Registration online allows you to pay for the class online and automatically be enrolled in the class.
