Activities Committee: Chairman, Leslie Shell - Washington Federal Savings
This committee assists with the planning, implementation and coordination of recreational activities for Association members and their families. These events often include golf tournaments, family picnics, movie premiers, and other types of sporting events. back to top
Community Service & Public Relations: Chairman, Shannon Roberts, KSL News Radio/KSL TV
This Community Service Committee oversees the charitable arm and activities of the Salt Lake Home Builders Association (most notably the Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build). The committee provides opportunities for the community-at-large to be involved with the Association, and assists with the implementation of the Salt Lake Parade of Homes™.
The Public Relations Committee assists with the development, implementation and coordination of programs and projects that promote the Salt Lake Home Builders Association and the home building industry. back to top
Ethics Committee: Chairman, Brandon LeRoy - Jackson & LeRoy Remodeling
This group is responsible for enforcing the Association’s Code of Ethics, with which each member agrees to abide. The committee receives and reviews complaints from the public concerning member-builders and attempts to resolve the matter through negotiation. back to top
Government Affairs Committee: Chairman, Ross Holliday - Element Homes
This committee gathers and distributes information about, and assists with, regulatory and legislative issues at the county and municipal levels that affect Association members. Activities may include contacting elected and appointed officials, lobbying, and testifying at meetings. back to top
Membership Committee: Chairman, Jed Heath - Interstate Brick
This standing committee develops, implements, coordinates and assists with programs to help retain current members of the Association and recruit new members. back to top
Salt Lake Parade of Homes™ Steering Committee: Chairman, Steve Dailey - Steven Dailey Construction
This committee plans, organizes, implements and coordinates all aspects of the annual Salt Lake Parade of Homes™; the hallmark event conducted by the Association. It boasts a proud tradition of being the first and largest event of its type in the State. back to top

Utah Remodelors Council: Chairman, Jeff Williams - Lone Pine Group
Membership in the Remodelers™ Council is doubly beneficial because it entitles you to the advantages and help provided by both the Salt Lake Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders. The Remodelers Council is committed to improved management and technical competency of council members, excellence in service to the consumer, and effective government representation of remodelers’ interests at the federal, state, and local levels.
