SUMMARY:On-Site Insights - Terraine\, Developed by Third Cadence
DESCRIPTION:On Site Insights A New SLHBA Event Series\n\nThe Salt Lake Home Builders Association is proud to introduce On Site Insights\, a new hands on event series bringing our industry together on site at active and recently completed residential developments across the Wasatch Front.\n\nEach event offers a behind the scenes look at a real project built by one of our homebuilders and or developers. Attendees will tour the home\, walk the site\, and engage in candid discussions on the full development story from entitlements and site challenges to product decisions\, sales performance\, and finishes. Tour leaders may include builders\, developers\, city and planning officials\, and other key partners involved in the project.\n\nDesigned to foster collaboration and real world learning\, On Site Insights connects builders\, municipalities\, and industry partners while highlighting great projects and generating additional market awareness.\n\nAll SLHBA members are welcome to attend we look forward to seeing you on site!\n\nThis month's On-Site Insights is focused on Terraine: The Village That Thinks It's a Camp - developed by Third Cadence\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProject Information\n\nTerraine is a 634-acre planned community in West Jordan nestled in the foothills of the Oquirrh Mountains\, led by developer Third Cadence. Terraine is entitled for roughly 3\,000 homes that will be built over the next 10-12 years. With one-third of Terraine being preserved as walkable trails and open space\, there are plenty of places to explore. There will be an extensive trail system\, a community pool\, a caf \, and an amphitheater. We have partnered with several home builders to build a variety of homes in the community\, including both townhomes and single-family homes. Instead of displacing the natural environment\, Terraine embraces it. Our sensitive approach to planting puts resilient native plants at the heart of the landscape design and prioritizes plant species that can tolerate Utah's dry conditions\, reducing water usage by 70%.\n\n\n\n*If you are interested in hosting an On-Site Insight event\, please contact Caroline Merrill with the SLHBA at caroline@slhba.com.
