DESCRIPTION:Immigration Reform & Control Act This part of the course will help contractors understand the requirements under the law as it relates to the proper completion\, storage\, and retention of the I9 form\, as well as a discussion on the E-verify system.\n\n\n\nAdditional Insured/Contract Privity and Breach of Contract + Insurance Exclusions This part of the course will focus on the different insurance endorsements\, contractual privity\, and breach of contract issues. It is important that contractors understand what is required in their contracts and how to avoid breach issues particularly with insurance provisions.\n\n\n\nOSHA safety: 300 logs\, OSHA basic This part of the class should be approved by WCF to count toward the association credit requirements. The course will discuss who is required to complete the OSHA 300 logs\, and how to complete them. We will also discuss OSHA basics and how to comply with the basic requirements of OSHA and safety requirements.\n\n\n\nContractors and DOT Requirements The Utah Dept. of Transportation (UDOT) has been cracking down on contractors relative to DOT compliance. This part of the course will discuss what are the requirements under the law\, and how to be compliant to avoid fines\, and to ensure drivers are driving safely.
